A Wonderful 2016

We’ve had a fantastic year at Wonderful with lots to celebrate – from new people, new awards and new challenges coming our way. Thanks to all our amazing clients for making this year so special – here’s a few of our highlights from 2016!

 

New Faces

This year we welcomed Vix to project management and Frankie to digital.

With a background in delivering software and web builds for global brands like BMW, General Motors and Johnson & Johnson – Vix and her trusty assistant Onion the pug have been making clients happy from day one in making sure their projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Frankie joins us as PPC & SEO Executive part of the agency graduate scheme, and is in the process of gaining his full Google AdWords certification and working on all client digital marketing accounts under the wing of our Digital Marketing Manager, Josh.

Kevin Tewis-Allen has moved on to Unilad as the Business Development Director for Music & Entertainment but still holds a NED role at Wonderful.

We have two new appointments in January, so we are looking forward to welcoming more Wonderful people.

 

New Awards

We had great success this year in being ranked a Top 5 Social Media Agency at the RAR Digital Awards 2016, 9th in the UK for client satisfaction and 21st for financial growth by The Drum. Thanks to our fantastic clients for voting for us!

 

Case Study Of The Year

Our favourite case study this year was being given the opportunity to redesign the website of heritage drinks brand Slush Puppie. The project brought back many childhood memories for much of the team and was a brilliant opportunity to bring something fresh, fun and quirky to the site’s design.   • A 300% increase in footfall in 9 months
  • A 138% increase in social media engagement
  • A 6000+ unique online visitors + 2% conversion rates
  • A £220,000 ROI through 1,100 online sign-ups

 

The Wonderful Foundation

This year we launched The Wonderful Foundation’s Walk For Water campaign – helping raise funds for the construction of a clean water source at the Migowi School and Orphanage in Malawi. We’ve already reached 25% of our target and look forward to raising more funds as we go into 2017.
