What did we do?

Wonderful were commissioned by Tesco to create a dynamic online advert to promote their wine brand. The agency created a web app that fitted within an MPU advert to allow for easy browsing and purchase from the current site.

What was good?

We were privileged to work with Tesco in creating the company’s first ever fully interactive advert. The advert allowed for a 3 click process to purchase any one of the top ten wines of that week. We pulled the data via XML directly from Tesco’s servers allowing for real-time information.

What were the challenges?

The project was technically intensive, and caused a number of problems along the way, however those problems were eventually overcome and the campaign was a great success.

How did it turn out?

The campaign was a great success with high conversion rates and a direct increase in wine purchases through the site.
