THE CLIENT

As the leading provider of innovative travel industry tech, DerbySoft connects distributors and suppliers at both the CRS and PMS levels. DerbySoft also provides solutions for suppliers through machine learning and rich data that can help to drive campaigns, as well as collecting, managing and distributing quality hotel content to help businesses thrive.

THE CHALLENGE

DerbySoft as a parent brand is known for its custom connectivity, linking Hotels to Online Travel agents. However, the technology (and its associated marketing services) had no clear identity in the market.
Wonderful were engaged to create a distinctive market proposition that would make Derbysoft top of mind for travel marketing, direct bookings and Meta Search. Our work would provide Derbysoft with a warmer starting point for sales and better marketing responses.

THE SOLUTION

With existing brand awareness and equity aligned to the parent company, Wonderful proposed the creation of a distinct brand identity that Derbysoft Marketing Services could be aligned around to position them as a specialist service in their own right - articulating a clear vision for the brand moving forwards, as well as emphasising their capabilities to potential customers with increased visibility.

To fully realise a new commercial identity within Derbysoft, Wonderful worked closely with a global team of stakeholders, located everywhere from the Asia Pacific region to AMER. This collaboration encompassed a full branding project, built from the ground up through proposition and positioning through to tone of voice, messaging and visual efficacy.

Articulation was positioned as a key design principle for Derbysoft’s marketing services refresh, and implemented across the complete range of materials needed to fully realise a complete brand creation. Assets such as sales pitch decks and powerpoints were developed to ensure a distinctive impact on internal expectations as well as the commercial market, and create brand awareness aside from Derbysoft core products.

A new website was designed that addressed key functionality challenges for presenting the product and allowed customers to easily engage with sales and implementation teams.
